Memorial Now Open

June 29, 2021

After years of planning, fundraising, and building, the Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial & Education Center is now open!

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, Kewaskum Remembers 9/11, Inc. held its official Dedication Ceremony and Grand Opening in front of a crowd of hundreds of community members, volunteers, donors and partner organizations that helped make the Memorial become a reality.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, including Governor Tony Evers, Washington County Executive Joshua Schoemann, former Kewaskum Village Administrator Matt Heiser, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald, State Senator Duey Stroebel, and Representative Timothy Ramthun.
